What a shame. I remember following her story at the time and being impressed by her courage in a difficult time.

I remember her story well, then lost track of her. What happened next is sad and inspirational at the same time. By the way: what are you doing watching CNN? The Cartoon Network is more accurate.

Let's not forget the brave pilots who rescued her
in terrible and dangerous weather.They risked their
lives so she could get treatment, even though she
signed a promise not to ask to be removed earlier than safety would allow.

Sorry. Hadn't heard of her. Ten years ago was partying at uni.

But what a moving story.

Reminds me of Farrah Fawcett.

And it also reminds me of our own spot_the_dog.
