I Guess Art Cashin Didn't Get the 30 Rock Invite

You know ~ the one where NBC poobahs told the CNBC guys to "cool it" and quit dissing Obama's big plans?

He's pretty much eviscerating those very same plans at the moment.

I love that old guy. I can guess why he wasn't invited.

If NBC is concerned about being an "Anti-Obama" network, the only bias they're concerned about emanates from the White House.

Cashin and Santelli are the only guys I pay attention to. They are the only ones who give you an accurate read on the markets, the others are just noise. Arthur doesn't work for CNBC, he is a strategist for Paine Webber.

I miss Ed Hart and his trading floor cynic. Some of his lines were priceless.

Hear, hear, yojimbo. Today's gem: we're making Sweden look like the wild west.

Over the last few weeks it's apparent that the talent has been muzzled. The few that are continuing to offer any criticism of The Won are being careful and there are a lot more guests arguing in favor of Tax Cheat Timmy's stealth nationalization.

If the corporate suits from GE actually had the audacity to tell CNBC how to cover the news, the entire editorial staff should've resigned in protest. The fact that they haven't speaks volumes about their integrity, or lack thereof.
