A New Situation Comedy: Obamarama and the Keystone Cabinet
President Obama's transportation department slapped down a suggestion by its own secretary Friday that the government tax motorists based on how many miles they drive rather than how much gasoline they burn.

And of course, if they did that, they'd JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE a convenient record of where people went and how much they drove...
I swear if that happens I will buy a horse. Or a bicycle. Or some mode of transport that cannot be tracked. Not that I go anywhere "suspicious" but the thought of some bureaucrat knowing where I go scares the crap out of me. (Maybe we all need to bone up on the anti-stalking laws and pull a massive lawsuit under those laws if this comes to pass)
