Thank God: It's OVER

No more need to worry about recycling or expensive "altermative" energy production methods

Global warming is 'irreversible'

A team of environmental researchers in the US has warned many effects of climate change are irreversible.

The scientists concluded global temperatures could remain high for 1,000 years, even if carbon emissions can somehow be halted.

So now, since there's no point in doing otherwise, we can use all the coal we want and finally buy a Prius-crushing full-size pickup...all guilt free! Huzzah!

But....some geologists are now saying we might actually be heading for a new Ice Age.

I don't know. I gave up making prognostications about what the climate will do. And I gave up feeling guilty about running the a/c in the summer. I conserve energy when I can only because it's a good financial thing to do. (And because then I have more money left over for buying other stuff)

Aiii-eeeeeee! It's "Climate Change"!!!!!!!!!!

I think we need another distracting name for climate change. They usually change the name every six months to a year so...how about whacky weather, solar reflux, or green giant's green gases of death? Watch out, he ate brocolli! That's at least another .5°C!

Of course "climate change" is irreversible, in the same way that the sunrise is irreversible. Idiots!

All of these "experts" need to halt the polluting emissions coming from their mouths before they irreversibly damage human intelligence, and given the current state of human intelligence they need to be stopped immediately.

I've never felt a twinge of guilt using coal as a supplemental heat source for our home, which I pick up using my 454 V8 powered Chevy pickup. And, I encourage any cows I come across to fart by poking them in the sides when they aren't looking...

I try to drink wine from as far away as possible...like Australia! 11,000 miles of carbon-rich transported goodness in every bottle!

To: Mr. Bingley and gregor.

Bless you both.

Maybe the Senate can delete that 400 mil to NASA for "climate research" then, although I can't think of anything else to spend that 400 mil on so maybe they should just keep it. My bad.

yojimbo - we can't think of a way to spend it, but I guarantee you the Senate can. Somewhere there's a county in this great land that doesn't have a building with Robert Byrd's name on it, and we can't have that, can we?
