Brain...Won't...Work

Man, I just can't get going today.

This whole Caroline Kennedy thing is too ludicrous for words...but deliciously enjoyable to watch.

I hope the Israelis squash Hamas into...hummus.

And we are really getting a lot of Eastern European spam comments; all these Cyrillic-typefaced comments that are illegible to ignorant 'Merkuns like moi but I assume say things like "hot borscht babes are waiting to meet you."

Comments

I saw a comment somewhere along the lines of "she's like a woman returning to the workforce after raising her kids". All I could think was: Yes, but they usually don't think they're qualified to start out with a seat on the Board.

I loved Allahpundit's line: "woman who's never worked promises to work twice as hard."

Hehehehe.

I would be pleased as punch if they chose her. She would accomplish zilch.

You really want a hardcore activist on the order of a Cuomo?

Choosing her makes a complete mockery of our electoral process. Say what you will about Cuomo, and goodness knows I'm no fan, but he has actually held a job and run for election.

Of course, the fact that he went through a nasty divorce from a Kennedy gal does spice things up a bit.

(now where did I leave that popcorn...)

The Dynasty must continue! I sometimes wonder if maybe the Kennedys hope for someone to get shot again: tree and falling related deaths aside, they just don't get the headlines they need without magical bullets and the like (more importantly the pity, etc). What will the grandchildren do if they can't be in politics? And do we really have to put up with another generation of these idiots? Gov't's bad enough.

Ebola, in the immortal words of Oliver Wendell Holmes, "Three generations of imbeciles are enough."

You're quite right Mr. Bingley. I'm hoping that it turns into Wellstone Memorial part deux and the people get tired of supporting a party that condones the Franken frolics, the ACORN mess not to mention all of the push polling tactics that have taken out many Republicans in the midwest over the last few election cycles.

She will give the state of New York about the same voting representation that an activist would. If these peole stay in power over a four or eight year term you won't have an election process to mock. If it takes giving her a seat in a worthless Senate to restore some electoral sanity just bring her on. Lord knows the Republican Party is not in a position to do it. Right now we are bringing knives to a gunfight.

Plus,

Let a Democratic Senate seat a non-qualified white woman from New York after they have just "hanged" and "lynched" a seemingly qualified and previously elected black guy from Illinois.:)
