The Only Sunday Cartoon to Mention Memorial Day Besides Mallard Filmore

...was Doonesbury, where Trudeau posted half the names of those we've lost in Iraq since April 2006. (Second half of his memoriam next week.)

Good for him.

And shame on everyone else.

Ah, but you have to be online for that, Mike. The syndicated Sunday cartoon color pages were pretty disgraceful in my opinion.

I think you just read the wrong cartoons.

People still buy newspapers? Who'd have thought that? (Oh, and my last post was made without seeing your response, THS.)

Outland, or Bloom County, or whatever it's called these days did too.

And I'm wary of Doonesbury. You can't get more anti-war than that and I'm not sure Gary did it out of respect rather than a "look at how many dead people Bush made" kind of snark.

Trudeau definitely did it for treason purposes, just like every other thing that nothing ever did. Did the maggot ever do such a cartoon when the Traitor was in the White House and more than 1000 members of the armed forces died each and every single year he was in office? Hell no. People like him and the rest of the 5th column media care about as much about American soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and coast guard as they care about justice.
