Network Security And Dopes In The Office

Our friend Dave E takes issue with the InstaMan regarding some aspects of his surfing-from-work stance, and rightly so from DaveE's security-minded point of view. And I've another: idiots at offices who listen to mildly-to-extremely obscene 'comedy' site with the speakers turned up. Sound travels too easily in offices, you morons. Use some discretion before you get us all screwed via a lawsuit.

And then there are those of us who can't even read Insta at work, due to the IT Naz.....nannies.

But you can read the Swilling, because we are the font of internet purity and goodness!

Exactly.

Sorry to hear that Crusader. That's the kind of thing that Instapundit correctly criticizes. I never had a problem with people just browsing to websites, it was the bandwidth hogs that drove me nuts. Especially when their colleagues would then call me up and complain about the network.

BTW, your site is blocked here, too, Dave. But folks around me play streaming radio casts on the same network. I have no idea what Insta has to say on the topic, but I have a rather low opinion of the folks handling our filters here.

She's a carnival act, too bad people aren't invited to throw darts at her.
