I Presume a Nom de Plume

I mean, that name can't be real...can it? You can understand why I might think he wouldn't want his real one out there...

NASHVILLE An advertising salesman for an alternative newspaper agreed to community service in exchange for the dismissal of six felony charges of promoting prostitution.

Nels Noseworthy, an account executive for the Nashville Scene weekly, was charged last year in a six-count felony indictment that said he promoted prostitution through ads that he sold.

That's why I won't let Bingley sell ads on the Swilling. He isn't up to snuff when determining what passes the smell test. Thinks everybody's his best buddy, naive little whiffersniffer.

Now I know Noseworthy is poking fun at a name. But community service for six-counts of felony is a felony. I did community service for a DWAI (the lesser of the drunk driving charges in NY). I didn't know I should have been making good money at it! (LOL)

Of course, the irony is that the poor fellow thought he already was providing community service...
