The Things You See In The East River

I looked over the side of the boat today and saw this:

That, my friends, I believe is a condom filled with cocaine that is floating around in NY harbor tonight. Somebody's gonna be upset.

Blech

Did ya get enough to buy a couple drinks from it?

I'm surprised it didn't look like an Esther Williams pool folly movie ~ people diving off in droves to grab it.

Then again, it is NY Harbor.

Jeez.

No, I was actually more afraid it would get sucked into the jets on the boat and screw up the engine.

Did I say "Blech"?

Well, at least you didn't dive in to rescue it. But what if it had been an unopened bottle of wine?

Hey, the cocaine has the right to practice safe sex. Who are we to judge?

I couldn't let wine go to waste JeffS, you know me too well.

Just remember the lifesaver's rule of rescue: "Reach, throw, row, go". Hopefully the bottle will be chilled to the appropriate temperature.

And don't forget a bottle opener!!!!
