Spiders are OK. From a distance. I've had to get used to them.

Thank goodness he's outside above the patio. A big bugger, about the size of my thumb.

Looks to be non-poisonous. Lucky you -- there are scads of black widows and brown recluses around my home. Sticking your hand in any dark corner is a major no-no. Flashlight, stick, gloves.
