What I have been saying for years...

Donald Sensing says here. We need the new refineries, but first we need to do something about all the different blends that the envirowhackos demand. Vehicles are running much cleaner these days, and we could produce more usable gas if we only had one blend to contend with. And yes, I think this rises to the level that the Feds could tell the state EPAs to stuff it. But it will never happen...sigh...

Oh yeah, and more Nuke plants, too.

Let's get some aging rock stars together and have a "More Nukes!" concert!

Perhaps Starship could sing "Stairway to Cleveland"?

Um, the resident tree hugger noted this on March 23rd. Very much in the same vein.

If that song's any indication, Grace and the boys ought to have hung 'em up after Red Octopus. But I'm on board with the nuke plants. It would reduce our DOFO (it surely is an acronym by now, right?) and cut down a lot on pollutants (industry is a much greater offender than passenger cars).

"I think this rises to the level that the Feds could tell the state EPAs to stuff it."

Oh, there's no question in my mind that the feds could do this as a matter of regulating interstate commerce. The problem is whether they actually ever would.

I just don't see either party having guts to tell the Greens to Sod Off....

Vote Bingley in '06!

If you become the Gov in NJ, just watch who you hire for Homeland Security.........

Posted by: Crusader at April 28, 2005 03:13 PM

I think the more important thing is why I hire them...

Jersey is weird - the election is actually in ODD years, so that would be "Bingley '05." I think we're the only state that does this, but my search results have been inconclusive.

Posted by: Nightfly at April 28, 2005 05:31 PM

I think it's the only state where the governor is the only statewide elected official, too. That means you can make me AG when you're elected, Mr. B.

When you're talking Bingley running, that makes it neither weird nor odd. It's all perfectly appropriate.

And after I win it will most certainly be an odd year muwhahhahahaha!

We can discuss the agenda for our first 100 days in power tomorrow night Dave.
