The United Steelworkers union on Tuesday said it reached a tentative agreement with a unit of Royal Dutch Shell......The move effectively averts a possible strike at facilities that handle the majority of the U.S.'s crude oil refining.
..."With the USW completely understanding the severe economic crisis the nation finds itself in, we certainly didn't want to contribute to the economic struggles of the American public by calling a national strike and possibly seeing the spiking of gas and diesel prices, home foreclosures of our members, or any other hardships," the union said.

All good things get perverted when the bureaucrats take control.That is why Unions have lost control
and mostly are a public employee blanket for hiding
lousy workers.Most union members now are cops,teachers,city employees.Cops can strike?
However,Even those left are not the problem.For
in Germany workers make more than us,have more vacation and benefits,yet Germany has a trade surplus.It is our treasonous leaders that have caused this.In the 50s, 50% of workers belonged
to real unions and that was when America was at
its peak.Now it is like 13% and most are public
employees.Now will are sinking,not due to them,
but the traitors who brainwash everyone 24 hours a day in the media,and make everyone uncomfortable
for saying," I think there are too many illegals
living in my backyard" Three is alright,but six!
