Perhaps 600,000 New Government Employees?

Boy, that will do wonders for the deficit, now won't it.

Any in Jersey? I could use a guaranteed pension and generous health benefits.

Don't you worry, Bill; I'm sure the bailout Corzine is asking for from Uncle Sam will go to hiring lots of State workers.

More importantly, did you watch Trading Places on Saturday? We did!

No...we had a party my wife forced me to go to. Maybe tomorrow night.

"I could use a guaranteed pension and generous health benefits."

I'm a state employee and believe me: those "guarantees" are gone. I'm already being furloughed a day a month without pay. California will start issuing IOU's in lieu of paychecks in the next couple of months; I'm sure Florida won't be too far after. Fear is a great motivator for a job search.
