One of my Christmas presents from the Mrs. is the Intrepid diary that she picked up on board during a recent class trip. Compelling reading.

The SR-71 was an amazing airplane. Not many of them were built, and we're actually lucky enough to have one of them on static display at the air museum in Richmond, VA.

That's the A-12 version. The Air Force stole ours in 2007 so the CIA could display it.
