The Coming Round Of "Bailouts"

Think the Bank welfare was fun? We've only just begun. The "Big 3" automakers will be meeting very soon with Pelosi and crew, who are already promising billions more in "stimulus" packages for them. This Congress is going to ram through the "Employee Free Choice Act," more properly known as the "Let Me Make You An Offer You Can't Refuse Act," to radically enhance union power. Next they will in effect nationalize the auto industry, to be followed by the airlines and so on down the line. They will be using your money to strengthen their union powerbase, thereby ensuring their grip on electoral power for years. Most ethical evah my ass.

And I promise that if I ever use the words "Pelosi" and "stimulus" (and "package"...ick) in the same sentence again I will jump in front of a bus.

It's all about the government. The Unions are
mostly a collection of government or quasi-government employees now;Teachers, cops, city workers, ect. The private employee is rarely in a union. If he is, it's a very weak one.
The main problem is the public sector has become
the main force in this nation. This is like Russia
was in the early 1900s.The system is cannabalizing
itself. The end will be with tanks and armoured
vehicles enforcing order, while the government worker
sits with sandbags around his office, and
the same- sex couple(teachers) embracing in horror, while still trying to prove 1+1=3.

Up next: a "bailout" for big retailers, because Americans aren't spending like they're "supposed" to.

Seriously, I cannot begin to describe my irk at the fact that I have lived my life frugally and fiscally responsibly, avoiding debt, saving up for things and waiting to buy them, and I am now being asked to dole out for people and companies that COULDN'T live that way.

The bailouts, stimulus packages, etc...

Doesn't anyone realize we are burning the furniture to stay warm? Once it's gone, it's gone. And the Dem's 'base' won't let us cut down enough trees to make more, so we will start... burning old people to stay warm...
