Man, I Hate This Time Change

Pitch black when I leave the house in the morning, and pitch black when I get home.

Blech.

Ain't nothin' compared to the darkness we're facing for the next four years...

I had the impression that you're always in the dark, Mr. Bingley. So why would this time of the year be a problem?

;-p

It'll be spring before I drive to or from work in daylight. What really gets me though is I'm the one who unlocks the place in the morning and too often the one who locks up at night. I'm not living right.

I'm on the other side: I can't stand Daylight Saving Time. Because it means, when it comes each March (and before it ends in November), I'm driving to work in the cold dead dark. (I often go home in the dark; that doesn't really matter to me so much).

I'm wondering when some snake-oil salesman tries to sell the new Administration on "year-round" DST or some other idiocy that will force the hardworking folks of this nation to endure more dark chilly mornings as they head to work, in order to make the idle layabouts happy with an extra "hour" at the end of the day to play golf in.

Or they'll claim they're doing it "to save energy."
