After Forcing Sweet major dad to Make Me a Caipirinha

...to see how green worked against the colors of my new absinthe design (BITCHING, in my humble estimation.)...

...I looked up from the camera to see he had thoughtfully placed almost the entire dinner fixin's (taters in the oven) beside the cocktail to keep it company.

Ebola is, unfortunately, unable to mooch join us tonight, so it's strictly an adult affair.

Ah, Friday night.

Shame about that, Ratboy.

Hot diggedy doodles, that looks yum.

Great minds think alike; I just finished my second caipirinha (though out of a FAR HUMBLER TUMBLER GLASS) and now am working my way through a bottle of the Greg Norman Shiraz.

Beating you to the first foodie post of the weekend is no mean feat in itself.

I think I'll have another to celebrate. {8^P

That looks good. What does the design say?

Posted by: Kate P at July 25, 2008 11:42 PM

It says "Sis is a poopy head"

Bingley, you're such a philistine sometimes. ;)

Hey! That was big in 3rd grade!

It says "Absinthe", Kate, in the font they used on a poster I posed for in my...youth. Underneath it has the French nickname for absinthe: La Fée Vert.

It translates to "The Green Fairy*" and if you look it up, you'll be refered to "*Puce/Puke Fairy" with Bingley's picture, taken in his dotage: green, naked and winged.

"Poopy" pales in comparison. And there ain't no 8 x 10's.

Well, I like "your" hair in the poster. The Puke Fairy image, well, the book is best left closed on that one.
