An Escambia County Judge set a new legal precedent in the case of a former high school teacher charged with voyeurism.Judge G.J. Roark ruled that upskirting a woman with a mirror in a public place, is not illegal under Florida's voyeurism statute. Pensacola Police arrested former Catholic High teacher Brian Presken when a woman accused him of looking up her skirt with a mirror at the Barnes and Noble bookstore in Pensacola last summer.
No ruling yet from the judge on what happens if victims hereafter choose to kick the shit out of the asshole with the mirror vice calling police, since it follows that there should be no expectation of being safe from an ass kicking in a public place, then.

Aren't Florida concealed-carry laws pretty basic? I mean, ass kicking sounds too kind. Shooting sounds more fitting.

I've filed voyeurism charges under this very statute and can't comprehend this ruling. I'm sure the State will appeal.

Yeah, `ol Presken representing the school I graduated from real well: of course, the year after I left a student knocked up a teacher, so nothing particularly surprising. Catholics aren't supposed to wear rubbers after all, so I guess a mirror is a decent prophylactic.

An ass kicking is at least guaranteed if I ever caught someone looking up my skirt with a mirror.
