So I Guess the Message Is:

"It doesn't matter what he says, so long as he says it purty like."

..."I don't think he put his brain in gear before he engaged his mouth," Little said. "But he apologized. … I think he has the right ideas, and I like hearing him talk. I put him in sort of the same mold as the Kennedys, JFK and Bobby."

Gads.

Now, I'm feeling bitter...probably just a bile eruption in an involuntary reaction to egregious fatuity.

I should get used to it, yes?

I should get used to it, yes?

No, but you might want to pick up a powerful anti-acid.

And if these people want entertainment, they should turn on the boob tube for mindless drivel not associated with politics. Soap operas, say, or Oprah, or maybe "Pinky and the Brain".

Our nation would be vastly improved if the politicians weren't an alternate source of home entertainment. We'd get leaders, not celebrities.

And that USA article smells like Obama spin doctoring. Like:

Still, in more than a dozen interviews here, even conservative Republicans couldn't muster the sort of outrage over Obama's remarks that Clinton backers were expressing Sunday.

How about some people don't get excited when idiot politicians open their mouths to say stupid things? God knows that we are all used to that.

"Our nation would be vastly improved if the politicians weren't an alternate source of home entertainment. We'd get leaders, not celebrities."

Amen 1000 times over.

We have plenty sources of entertainment (and more developing every day) without our national leadership entering some Beavis and Butthead like race to the bottom of the barrel.

Get a load of this one…

"We believe in God, and I own a couple of guns," said the retired Little, wearing a camouflage Field & Stream cap and waiting with his wife in their SUV to watch their granddaughter's softball practice.

Guess what smiley? You're backing a candidate who want to take those couple of guns away from you. You obviously haven't a clue of what his "ideas" are so, for everyone's sake, forget to go to the polls on Election Day.

No need to get TOO used to it: the "bitter" speech will go down in history as Obama's self-written political epitaph. We haven't gotten that point in every presidential cycle where the media rediscovers the Electoral College, but once they do, even most of THEM will realize he's toast. You simply don't ever win votes by insulting people.

Guess it changes the meaning of the WW2 song
"Praise the Lord and pass the Ammunition"

Did you guys catch the YouTube video that the Judge posted? It would explain a lot.

I think this may be the first time in our history that a third party candidate could actually win.
I don't know how late a candidate can get on the ballot, but we have three choices( Hillary,McCain
and Obama) all supported an Amnesty bill which
was opposed by 80%of the Americans. I think that
is amazing! Where is our voice? 80% means nothing..
What would Thomas Jefferson say.

"...this may be the first time in our history that a third party candidate could actually win."

Show us the electoral college math to make that believable, and throw a name out there. Presidential elections are not won by party labels or on single issues: they are won by individual people, actual candidates. Color me HIGHLY skeptical.

Wishful thinking I guess. But,Like it said in the Bible, show me seven honest people and I'll save
your city. Are there seven honest Representatives left?
I always liked Pat Buchanan, but he was branded
as racist by the Media. My other choice would be
( believe it or not)Jerry Brown. He's a wacko but against government controlling our life.Just a thought.

Dave J: I think this whole election has been a scam.
I subscribe to 'The US News and World Reports',Time
and Newsweek. It was very evident the world Media
had ordained Hillary as President. The primaries
were a shock to their plan.
That is why I don't write Obama off. He is the
only one that goes against the plan of the New World
Order. McCain is their 'B' plan.
We have no control over our nation anymore. It's
all like 'American Idol'Demographics and stats based on surveys.
But,I now feel Obama isn't up to the task. He's
not the answer.

BO's toadies in the press have served him well by focusing on the word "bitter" and ignoring the rest of his idiotic statement.

Posted by: Jim - PRS at April 15, 2008 02:11 AM

That's exactly right, Jim. The 'bitter' bit is a distraction; the real insulting stuff is the rest of the statement.
