Dump Your Problems On Someone Else

When nature calls for Phydeaux, it's good to know that someone is On Doody

Enter Lee Bowling, owner of "On Doody." For a fee, Bowling and his staff will pick up what your dog leaves behind.

Bowling bought the business from a friend in 2005.

"We grew 70 percent the first year," he said.

Bowling and his staff now pick up poop for almost 300 customers.

"People these days, they either don't have time to do it, or honestly, they just don't want to do it," he said.

No shit.

Well, I guess that's the point, isn't it.

Huh. Without knowing the rest, I might have guessed that On Doody was a younger readers' version of this.

The economy must really be in the 'pooper,' heh? So much excess cash that they pay someone else to clean up after their dog.

Exactly, Barney. I mean, it's really not that hard to go out with a plastic bag and de-turd your yard.

Next thing you know someone will start a company called "A Swipe" (say it fast) for people who can't be bothered to clean off their own butts...

You'll get in trouble for that crack, Bings...

They've been advertising on the radio from a similar company in Austin for many years, it was a result of too much money in this town from the dot com people.

But I do see potential in this service. I don't have a dog, but one of my neighbors sends her effing little yappers to crap in my yard when I'm not around. Maybe I can hire some dude to clean my yard, and charge it to them.

Naw, I think I'll just use a shovel, and deposit it where it belongs. Covertly, of course.

The On Doody guy might do your dirty work, so to speak, for an extra fee, Jeff.

But yeah, I know what you mean about the dogcrap in the yard. I have one neighbor with a dog and seriously, I wonder what she feeds the beast to have it produce feces of that level of stink and consistency...and how she managed to train it to only leave them in other people's yards and not hers.

Genius. Good for him. Hope he makes a million. I did a google search and found some other companies that are pretty impressive... www.stinkies.net , doodycalls.com
