My View Going Home Today


Was nowhere near as purdy as Ann Althouse's was this morning.

If I was a Philostopher I would find some deep significance in the allure of looking to the glowing City to the West over the tired one to the East...

It's Pier 11, the ferry pier at the foot of Wall Street, looking towards Brooklyn and the old coffee warehouses and wharves.

I'm confused. I lived twice in NYC and I find both photos attractive and inspiring.

Dude, great picture. If you look really close to the far left you can see the dock piling I used to stand on when I would pee on Buzzy's River Cafe after our falling out in 1982. Good times.
