Inmates Want More Sausage

There's really not more to be said

Inmates go on sausage ‘temper tantrum’ N.M. prisoners angry after being told they could only have 1 dinner sausage

HOBBS, N.M. - Some Lea County inmates set fires and broke toilets and windows after being told they would be allowed only one sausage at dinner. Jail officials said the inmates began yelling and banging on their doors in what they described in a news release as a "temper tantrum."

No word on how many pigs-in-a-blanket they are allowed.

So, would this qualify as a "sausage party"?

Taking away their sausage violates the 8th amendment.

"sausage" and "violate" in the same sentence--ew.

I like that the press described it as a "temper tantrum." I wonder if the victims can stage a "temper tantrum" against the inmates to demand their loved ones, goods, sense of safety, or money back?

Of course, the prison could just start serving them Loaf for a while - then they'd happily accept their single sausages.

That "jail loaf" sounds ideal for the NM prisoners. Feed 'em it for a month, and see what happens.

Happiness is indeed relative.

How hilarious. And as I'm reading it, a big honkin' picture of a chocolate cake pops up in the advert bar on the right.

I'm starving.

Jail loaf actually sounds a touch better than the old Chicken A-la King MRE's I ate in Fort Campbell.

Amen, Gunslinger. That brought a shudder out of me...
