I Can Hear the Spin Starting Now

...and I'm not talking the cyclonic kind.

Forecaster lowers year’s hurricane prediction

...“We’ve lowered our forecast from our May predictions because of slightly less favorable conditions in the tropical Atlantic,” said Philip Klotzbach, a member of Gray’s team at Colorado State University.

"I invented hurricanes and I'll say when we get more or less. Got that, Gray guy?"

Alas, The Goreacle™ will merely talk more and faster, and spew hot air over the Atlantic, thereby increasing the chances of more hurricanes.

Isn't this the second year in a row that predictions of a record-breaking hurricane season fizzled out like a popcorn fart? They just refuse to learn.

Sacrificing a chicken as I agree with you, plus a caveat. While that is indeed true for the second year in a row, I keep reminding myself that personal experience has taught me it only takes ONE good one to ruin your summer.

My simple joy is in knowing how the Gorebal Warmerers Flying Monkey shrieks. Either truth will do:
Gray is an administration tool

There's a Gorebal Warming sign in there somewhere

And, on a serious note, the hurricane season is active for several months yet. So it ain't until the fat lady sings.

But not The Goreacle™. He ain't a lady, and he can't sing.

"...ain't over until the fat lady sings..."

But he is fat, Jeff.
