There's a Special Place in Hell For Dogfighters
...but what REALLY frosts my hide is sh*t like this...
...“What is foreign to me is the federal government getting into a dogfighting case,” Poindexter said. “I know it’s been done, but what’s driving this? Is it this boy’s celebrity? Would they have done this if it wasn’t Michael Vick?”
This particular squandered talent, multimillionaire 'boy' is 27 years old. When does that magic 'man-flip' happen now-a-days?

Well, I too am troubled about the Feds' involvement. I don't want PETA using that as a lever for more unlegislated regulation.

Yeah, you are a bit. I don't think it's because he's black. We've just knocked the threshhold for manhood back and back and back as an excuse for these celebrities. As for federal involvement ~ me confused , too, Mike. (But WTF is UP with a 27 year old still being referred to as a boy? A B-O-Y?)

And correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't there have been near-riots some 30-35 years ago if a black man of 27 had been referred to as a "boy"?
As for the "deadline for manhood": sadly, I think some never achieve it. Fortunately, most males reach it somewhere between 18 and 30. I think having to work for a living, keep to a budget, and be in a position of responsibility has something to do with it.
