Signs of Global Warming: Shrinking Water Resources

...for a desperately overheated world.

On the otherhand, us folks here in Bangla-cola would love to thank
The Tiny Scientists...

...who have kept our temperatures well below normal, in spite of what your lying eyes tell you the Labradork's piteous state represents.

Normally by this time of year, these zinnias and nasturtiums would have worn off their flame-retardancy and been a scorched shell of their former glory. As you can see by the pics I got about an hour ago, they're lookin' pretty perky.

Oh, well thank you, WK! And around here, it's ALWAYS Halloween. We're strange that way. Those concrete pumpkin lanterns (there's 4 of them) have been on our doorstoop/window ledges since I got them in 1996. There's Jack-O-Lanterns all over the house and gargoyles in the backyard, not to mention my two buddies who keep me company at my desk.

DAMN, I love Halloween.

Hmmmm.

I love making silly string booby-traps for Halloween.

Put a pressure sensitive switch under a plate and put it on the concrete walk leading to the house. Connect the switch to little servos connected to a battery, a battery I tell you, of silly string containers all pointing to the pressure plate.

Next time some unwary kid walks up to get my candy ... HAHA! Silly string assault!

Scares the living hell out of the kids.

But now that kids really don't go trick or treating anymore, it's kinda become pointless.

Fun though.
