Am I the Only One Who's Worried

...that this kid is now in mortal danger?

No, you are not.

Same thing here. And angry at such recklessness.

I was appalled when they said 'a video store clerk'. NOW it's down to teen ager, the picture of the exact Circuit City where he worked...good GOD, these animals KILL people. 'Whoops sorry' won't cut it when his second hand junker blows up or his beheaded corpse is found on a slimy NJ waterfront.

What assholes. The MEDIA, I mean.

Yup. And it's worse coming from the Post, because they're one of the few media outlets that hasn't gone into full navel-gazing "all is lost" mode when it comes to terrorism. I'm guessing they wanted to promote the kid's heroism, and rationalized that it wouldn't increase his danger. Presumably, the remaining four already knew how this happened, since all the news reports for the past week have been that this tape was leaked to authorities by alarmed workers. They've been in the parking lot so the Post said to themselves that it wasn't leaking sensitive information.

That other people not hiding from authorities might not have known, and now do, apparently didn't occur to the Post's editors.

No, you are not. I had a thought this morning that one way to help in the fight against plots like the NJ idiots was to hail folks like this employee as heros....

Then I had another thought....kind of like yours and thought my idea wasn't really so hot afterall.

Way to point it out!

Yikes. And I can get on at lunch now thanks to PSP. WooHoo!

(And there was MUCH rejoicing!!!)

Thanks for the thumbs up, BU, and a WARM Swill welcome!

Hmmmm.

*shrug* none of this matters one bit.

Why?

Because the wannabee-terrorists know precisely who it was that turned them in because one of them physically handed the tape to the teenager.

Now does this mean the kid is in danger? Not necessarily. Does this mean the kid isn't in danger? Again not necessarily.

But I think the most important issue to come out of this Fort Dix situation is how Americans need to deal with a murderous cult that is Islam.

Other than putting the kid into the witness protection program and giving him a new identity, I've got bupkis. I really don't know.

All too true, mm. My concern is that either the loose elements or ones in sympathy now have a clearly marked trail, as opposed to having a little work to do to track this kid down. If it was my son? I'd be raising hell.
