I Think a Rutgers Daddy

...needs to kick him some Imus ass. I can guarantee major dad'd already have a Bangla-cola/New York ticket.

That wrinkled, drunken, degenerate mummy is still on the air? I thought he'd be Howard Stern's shoeshine boy by now.

I remember his promo spots from his WNBC days on TV. He was a pud then.

This is a surprise, that he is an asshole?

Hardly. The surprise is he that hasn't gotten a beat down yet. You know ~ from some ignorant gomer who doesn't realize how clever Imus is and just took offense to what the man said about his daughter.

Of course, if MSNBC had the cajones to sh*tcan him, there goes their whole morning schedule, so...maybe they won't.

Nothing will be done about Imus or any other obnoxious talk radio host until America gets over its love affair with obnoxious talk radio. People love this stuff -- the stupid, crude jokes, the idiotic way the hosts talk over each other and laugh at their own stupid, crude jokes, the mocking of callers, the beetle-browed "political" rantings -- so when there is suddenly a big fuss over a talk show host "going over the line" it sounds more than a bit hypocritical.

Which is proof positive that they had to dredge the bottom of the barrel just to get Imus.

Sharpton has already been haranguing on tv, demanding that Imus be fired.

I don't much like Imus, but a lot of people do and there's no way this will end his radio show.

But what will happen is that Imus will pay Sharpton and the other shakedown artists to get off his back. Then Sharpton will crow how he got a better apology and make sure everyone knows how powerful he is.

It's kind of like the British sailors and Iran. Except that the Brits didn't do anything wrong except be stupid.

On second thought . . .
