He's the Dead NJ State Trooper

But his killer's the one with her name on a NYC College community room.

New York City college students who share a community room named for an escaped cop killer called the fugitive their hero Tuesday as the school's officials demanded the removal of the honor.

A handful of campus groups at the City College of New York commended the school for allowing them to work in the name of domestic "terrorist" Assata Shakur, now believed to be hiding in Cuba.

"We know that many Black people that fought for better conditions in the 70's were framed," the groups said in a statement released to FOXNews.com. "We consider Assata Shakur to be one of the people who were wrongfully and purposefully framed for her activities.

"And we consider her a hero and role model for standing up for our people and putting her life on the line."

Doncha just love these young, passionate kids?

She actually made it to a trial, though. And, having been aquitted, whatever one thinks of her, there's not much to be done after that.
Did you read what Solzhenitsyn wrote about her? It's great.

Russian dissident and Nobel Laureate Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn criticized Davis' sympathy for the Soviet Union in a speech he delivered to the AFL-CIO on July 9, 1975 in New York City, claiming hypocrisy in her attitude toward prisoners under Communist governments: as noted by Solzhenitsyn, a group of Czech dissidents “addressed an appeal to her: `Comrade Davis, you were in prison. You know how unpleasant it is to sit in prison, especially when you consider yourself innocent. You have such great authority now. Could you help our Czech prisoners? Could you stand up for those people in Czechoslovakia who are being persecuted by the state?' Angela Davis answered: `They deserve what they get. Let them remain in prison.' That is the face of Communism. That is the heart of Communism for you.”

Hey, they wear shirts with castro's little buttmonkey Che on them. Never mind he put people like them in camps for listening to rock and was a puritanical little jerk on the subject of sex: "Dude, he was a hero of the revolution!

Send in a NYC cop to talk to them. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll shoot at him. Whereupon we can do a little gene-pool chlorinating.

Ken,
Even worse, doesn't she have a title like "Professor of Consciousness" or something pretentious and useless sounding like that?

Posted by: Emily at December 12, 2006 06:16 PM

I don't recall her exact title, but I think it's professor. Her "discipline", if you can call it that, is "History of Consciousness".

I'm not kidding.

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at December 12, 2006 06:25 PM

I knew it had something to do with "consciousness." Which probably means she teaches something that would piss off a lot of parents if they realized what their kids were getting for their money.

He's dead? Good. One less pig. You can always shoot yourself and make it two dead pigs.

Posted by: Rick James at December 12, 2006 06:44 PM

Oh joy. A troll who celebrates murderers.

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at December 12, 2006 06:47 PM

And such a witty and erudite one at that, Ken.

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at December 12, 2006 07:04 PM

Take comfort, guys. Someday, this asshole is going to need the police for help. They won't be the enemy anymore when that time comes.

Posted by: Emily at December 12, 2006 07:08 PM

Mr. James "shoot yourself and make it two dead pigs" ~ hmmm...not sure who you are referring to. I'll bet you are one of those cowardly little pencil necks who revel in the death of an officer of the law or a military man/woman, but would scream like the little pussy you are if you had to face one man to man(?). Your ilk, who praise the cowardly ambush and death of a cop because it is in the name of the fight against whatever...well, I'll just say when you dial 911 because you are in trouble, I hope the call gets lost, you shit.

Posted by: major dad at December 12, 2006 07:17 PM

In this case I believe I will allow major dad's poetic "little pussy" to stand. It's purr-fect.

And, really...do those in the completely cool school still say 'pig'? I'm shocked.

"Rick James" seems to be a wannabe version of this

miserable

little

puke.

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at December 12, 2006 07:32 PM

Personally, I still call them "the fuzz," though I suspect that might be outdated.

Posted by: Emily at December 12, 2006 07:42 PM

I think "fuzz" was already outdated by the time it was used on the second version of "Dragnet".

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at December 12, 2006 07:48 PM

James will most likely get offed in somebody's living room after trying to rip off the place for drug money.

Posted by: Gunslinger at December 12, 2006 08:24 PM

So there is hope...

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at December 12, 2006 10:29 PM

Something tells me that James' next of kin will be presented the "Darwin Award" for his non-contribution to the gene pool.

Posted by: The_Real_JeffS at December 12, 2006 11:10 PM

If Mr. James would actually have the huevos to put an email or url with his nom de internet...
