Paging John Ashcroft!!

We'll be needing those draperies back...

Museum Field Trip Deemed Too Revealing

“Keep the ‘Art’ in ‘Smart’ and ‘Heart,’ ” Sydney McGee had posted on her Web site at Wilma Fisher Elementary School in this moneyed boomtown that is gobbling up the farm fields north of Dallas.

But Ms. McGee, 51, a popular art teacher with 28 years in the classroom, is out of a job after leading her fifth-grade classes last April through the Dallas Museum of Art. One of her students saw nude art in the museum, and after the child’s parent complained, the teacher was suspended.

I hope it wasn't a Picasso or anything they saw.

Jeez, they'll need counseling!
Now cover your eyes, or I call your parents.

I almost caveated that, knowing there would be individuals who shall remain nameless, who would focus on 'boobie' and then 'free' and register nothing else.

They're never free.

How true, how true, Mr. Bingley.

But just you wait....soon, all museums will have a rating scheme similar to movies. Clearly, the Dallas Museum of Art is at least R rated. Maybe Disney should go into the museum business?

Any takers on the religion of the complainer? Given the fact that he got immediate results, we can rule out Judeo-Christian.
