If Our "Partners" Fail To Do Their Part

Then we should close bases and move our troops, and all the dollars that they represent to the local economies, out of every country that isn't pulling its weight. Screw Germany, France, Spain, and Turkey. The Brits, the Dutch, the Italians* and the Poles are the only ones that deserve our support.

*Update: Thanks to sandspur for pointing out in the comments that I wanted to both screw and support Italy, which immediately made me think of Gina Lollobrigida for some reason...

It's time to re-arm Japan. It's sad when El Salvador has more troops in the ME than some once great European nations.

The war has been over for 60 years.

The cold war has been over for 15 years.

BRING THE TROOPS HOME!

Are we screwing or supporting Italy?

Posted by: sandspur at September 13, 2006 12:33 PM

Oops! My bad! We support Italy!

And if Gina Lolabrigida ever walks within reach...meee-oW!

We should move out of Germany and into Azerbaijan. Those are some great allies.

We should move out of Iraq and into Syria. And drop ship a few million small arms into Iran.

Don't forget to 'plug in' the river.....

Australia fought in the wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq and still has thousands of troops committed to those areas. Why leave them out of the list of worthwhile allies?

Australia is A#1 with me; the article is refering to European/NATO folks, which is why I didn't mention them.

I'd be quite happy if I woke up tomorrow and the rest of the world had vanished, leaving only the US, Australia and the UK.

Well, I would still want Brazil, too...
