Singing in the Rain

...just singing in the rain.

What a glorious feeling,
When this sh*t starts over again.

Know the feeling, ths. This season concerns me a great deal more than previous ones.

Amazing how your first big blow kinda ruins things from that point on.

I'm still hoping that the weather ghouls made idiots out of themselves by proclaiming a busy season. We're still an average season so far.

Of course I could be proven wrong. I hope not. I have a lot of meat in the freezer.

Have we just been invited to a barbecue, ths?

Sigh - yep. Here we go again... let's hope it wimps out.

On the bright side, maybe it'll give Fidel that last little push over the edge he needs.

Sounds like Carola's firing up the barbie to me, Rob! Dave can collect KathyK and we'll all head over to Carola's on Sunday.

I lost about 25lbs of chicken and sausage during the Katrina aftermath. Thought it would stay longer if I left the freezer door shut. That's what I had always been told. Not true. Didn't care about those 25lbs that much, though. I also lost about 60 crawfish pies. I would definitely have had the neighbors over for a BBQ and I would have figured out a way to set that Weber on BAKE.

Did I mention that those crawfish pies were homemade from my own boiled crawfish and fresh ingredients? Damn Katrina.
