Whilst Trying to Figure Out Why the Camry is Eternally Cranky

...I came across this little gem. It made me laugh.

3/31/03: My brakes were squealing like Ned Beatty in Deliverance.

"Whilst Trying to Figure Out Why the Camry is Eternally Cranky"

In the words of my ex-Marine buddy from grad school: "operator error". I've been waiting years to try that out on someone else. ;-)

Perhaps you should have WAITed a couple more...

I really must have gotten your goat - you didn't even hop on the "ex-Marine" crack. I always assumed that he picked that one up in the Marines (he was a commo specialist).

Oh, it's most definately Jarhead, usually applied to goof-ups by college educated fly boys. Nothing sweeter than a pilot writing up/losing his mind over a non-operable radio/whatever and being able to write as a fix "UHF P-O-W-E-R switch in the O-F-F position, returned to O-N position. Radio ground checks fine."

Volume knobs were also common operator failure culprits.

Any putty on that Camry?

Not yet. It's major dad's car mostly.
Except when it overheats in inclimate weather.

Then it's mostly mine.
