Ted Kennedy is not able to comment. Or should that be "capable of comment"?

We made some t-shirts for annual 4th of July bash. My husband designed them and I was working on colors. When describing the color swatches to the graphics house I asked for...

1. "Kopechne blue"
2. "Kennedy gin blossom red"

Heh. The graphics lady who had worked with my husband for years on this project (and was predisposed to dislike me, as she had a thing for him and didn't like the idea of a "wife," though she is eight years his senior and not his type) instantly took a liking to me over the phone. We became fast friends.

Heavens. What is up with you Rep. Kennedy? Out of Mayo yet and ready to head back to DC and knock down some more barricades?

I kid, but that's a tough road. Seriously.

What astonishes me to this day is that the a$$hole was 37 YEARS OLD. Not 27, not 17, not 77...THIRTY SEVEN. Old enough to know better, act and REact better. That really puts the cap on "NO EXCUSE" for him.

It continues to bother me that he can, well, LIVE with himself.

I'd drink like a fish, too.

Or, conversely, if one is utterly without conscience or remorse (and I don't discard this possibility), one can, well, carry on. Business as usual.
