Bingley Visits Royalty

Who knew we'd be graced with a visit this weekend, and that these ladies would be so kind as to pose for a few photos for your humble servant on the trip home today?

Here's the "Crown Princess"

and, of course, her Majesty "Queen Mary 2"

To give you a sense of the size of these ships, heres a view from a little ways away...

Very cool, Bingster. My senior prom was on the Queen Mary (not this one, the one in Long Beach).

I thought your prom was on the Titanic, Ken?

The ferry i was on went within 150' or so of her; she's huge.

And much more graceful looking than the "Crown Princess" hotel-on-a-barge thingie.

No, his prom felt like the Titanic.

Well, she did go down...

She was an iceberg.

Oh so far from a cake of ice...

Not an iceberg, Mr. B. More like the Bermuda Triangle....
