Today Midway would be reported, "US forces lose aircraft carrier and dozens of aircraft while searching for Japanese fleet."
or

But am I wrong? Does anyone who owns the DVD actually watch the "my girlfriend is in an internment camp" scenes?
And I haven't even started on the use of totally inappropriate stock footage, such as how Charlton Heston somehow manages to crash an F9F jet fighter at the end of the film.
