You're a GOD in this house.

How lovely, Cullen!

Buckle up, bonehead...

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 22, 2006 07:09 PM

If we're going to get a gift, we should probably "Shop smart, shop S-Mart"

Posted by: KG at June 22, 2006 07:26 PM

He was great in "Briscoe County", I loved that show. Comet the Wonder Horse who caused my deranged Scottie to attack the screen when he was on and Dixie, what a serious babe! Sigh...

Posted by: major dad at June 22, 2006 07:26 PM

Happy Birth...

Did you speak the exact words?

Look maybe I didn't say every exact syllable, no. But basically, I said them, yeah.

Ping

Posted by: KG at June 22, 2006 07:35 PM

Well, thank you, KG! How wonderful to be surrounded by such discerning film aficianados. (As Bingley is going "now, who the hell...?")

We had a neat, NEAT Goth place on Bourbon Street we'd frequent every time we were in NOLA for a show. Ebola always got some sort of Evil Dead keepsake (Man, grown up toys are exSPENSIVE ~ Bad Ash bobbleheads, action figures...), as well as the occasional "Nightmare Bfore Christmas" gift to mail to Kcruella. I miss that place.

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 22, 2006 07:51 PM

Whom are we discussing?

Posted by: Mike Rentner at June 22, 2006 07:52 PM

Posted by: Cullen at June 22, 2006 08:11 PM

Ah, Brisco County - the show so forgotten, Bravo's "Brilliant But Cancelled" lineup doesn't mention it at all. (Stooges. This is the lineup they're promoting now.)

Posted by: Nightfly at June 22, 2006 08:38 PM

Hmmm, Diptera, I did see it listed somewhere in that vein and was heartened by the mention.

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 22, 2006 08:41 PM

Whom are we discussing?

No mere mortal, my man. A member of the Pantheon.

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 22, 2006 08:42 PM

I'm glad I'm not the only one, Mike. Even after I found his name, my reaction was "Who?".

Posted by: Rob at June 22, 2006 09:00 PM

This...is my BOOMSTICK!

Posted by: Tainted Bill at June 22, 2006 09:33 PM

Now...who the hell?

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at June 22, 2006 10:27 PM

(Diptera ~ ???!!! The Americanized "Touching EVIL"?! As IF anyone could copy Robson Green's manic act and ice blue eyes. They're smokin' dope.)

Everyone knows but you hoo hoo...
We didn't allow you to see those movies when you were here, Bingley. 'Responsible for sensitive younger brother' and all that, pip pip, you know.

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 22, 2006 10:37 PM

Three of the best movies ever made, but my copies got swiped by my litle ray of sunshine.

Posted by: Kcruella at June 22, 2006 10:50 PM

Can we get more obscure?

Posted by: Mike Rentner at June 22, 2006 11:52 PM

Bruce Campbell is hardly obscure. He's been in lots of movies you've seen, just not one of the main characters. Check out his IMDb page and see for yourself.

Posted by: Cullen at June 23, 2006 07:21 AM

Fine. Be that way.

See if I care.

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at June 23, 2006 07:34 AM

Ah, finally clarity. Bruce Campbell. I was wondering who you guys were talking about.

Never heard of him.

Posted by: Mike Rentner at June 23, 2006 07:41 AM

Obviously. And you're the poorer for it, trust me.

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 23, 2006 07:51 AM

He and Clive Owen are both under-appreciated actors.

Posted by: Crusader at June 23, 2006 08:22 AM

(WHAT is this thing with Clive Owen and you????)

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 23, 2006 08:49 AM

Men can have favorite actors, you know. It doesn't make us "suspect".

Posted by: Tainted Bill at June 23, 2006 09:02 AM

Clive Owen? Oh, yes it does.

I understand Bruce Campbell. You all want to play it as cool as a cucumber:

Ash: Lady, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you to leave the store.
Possessed woman: Who the hell are you?
Ash: Name's Ash.
[cocks rifle]
Ash: Housewares.

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 23, 2006 09:07 AM

(WHAT is this thing with Clive Owen and you????)

This from the person who posts more pictures of David Hasselhoff than there are episodes of Baywatch? Pot...kettle? At least Clives a decent actor......sheesh......8^P

Posted by: Crusader at June 23, 2006 09:11 AM

OH, puh-leez! I have not yet begun to plumb the depths of Hasselhoff photo depravity ~ the man is a never ending, egomaniacal treasure trove.

And I got yer 'decent actor' right here, little brother.

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 23, 2006 09:30 AM

How did they manage to get a picture of Hasselhoffs personality? Amazing! hehe.......

Posted by: Crusader at June 23, 2006 09:34 AM

Who could forget his role as "snooty usher" in Spiderman 2, Mike? Besides me, I mean.

Posted by: Rob at June 23, 2006 09:34 AM

::sniff:: Sarcasm does not become you, Rob.

Posted by: tree hugging sister at June 23, 2006 09:41 AM

Sorry, ths. Campy, B-movies bring that out in me. I'll try to stifle it next time.

Posted by: Rob at June 23, 2006 09:49 AM

Hey, give credit where credit is due, Rob. He's also in the first Spiderman.

Posted by: Crusader at June 23, 2006 09:53 AM

Didn't want to go too over-the-top with the sarcasm, Crusader. If I'd gone over the whole litany of his diverse and memorable roles in A-movies such as "snooty usher", "ring announcer", "tour guide", and "soap opera actor"............well, some here may have taken offense.

Posted by: Rob at June 23, 2006 10:03 AM

When I said, "Never heard of him," I didn't mean that in such a way as to denigrate Bruce Campbell. I'm sure he's a very admirable person and, um, actor(?).

Still not sure why he's considered such a hotty, but I'm happy for him and for y'all.

Posted by: Mike Rentner at June 23, 2006 10:20 AM

I heard he was a "little goody two-shoes", y'know?

Posted by: mojo at June 23, 2006 10:30 AM

Didn't want to go too over-the-top with the sarcasm, Crusader.

Why not? Sarcasm is my speciality. Heck, they wonder what is wrong when I am not sarcastic here at work.

Posted by: Crusader at June 23, 2006 10:38 AM

I'm sure he's a very admirable person and, um,...GOD.

Yes. You've got that right, Mike.
