To Save Russia, Putin Declares the People Must...

Get Laid!
Well, okay. More "be fruitful and multiply", but that takes 'getting laid', right? So, really, that's what the man meant.

Well, that explains the bear post below, judging by the soviet women I've seen...

What Mr Bingley? You mean they don't all look like Anna Kournikova?

Posted by: Rob at May 11, 2006 09:52 AM

This is not a new phenomenon. Remember that great speech Brian Blessed gives in I Claudius about patrician Rome not marrying? "Do you see this? It's a boy! And how do you suppose we get them?" I think he calls them "murderers of their own posterity" to boot. It's a standout moment.

No, John assures me they're like this.

I beat you to it.

It's not just Russia.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, Cullen. Very nice, very nice indeed. But I know something YOU don't know...

Even though the Swilling clock (as well as your OWN) is on EASTERN time, I actually posted it an HOUR EARLIER from my existential Central space Time continuum plane. So there, braggart! BHUUWAAAAhahahahahaha!

Posted by: tree hugging sister at May 11, 2006 10:27 AM

And I read it an hour and a half before she posted it.

A Vulcan mind meld, if ever there was one!

And I copyrighted it years ago, so my lawyers will contact y'all shortly.

It's trademark, not copyright. Hit him, Dave.

Oh, there are some hotties over there, it's just that they hit 40 and explode. 'swhy I prefer Asian women...

Heinlein noticed their failure to reproduce way back in the 1970s when he visited. Brian - I love the Claudius reference, I think it's from "Claudius the God", which the series merged with "I, Claudius".

John - I think so. For a fact, I know that the boy he's showing off is Claudius, which is what helps put the scene over the top.
