I believe that he lifted 2000 lbs!!! Why, I lifted 1000 lbs last week with one hand! It was done in the Dallas Science Center. All you need is a lever long enough. The article only said that he lifted the weight, not how he actually did it. A 20 foot lever could make it extremely easy to lift 2000 lbs.
