Life Sucks

...or so they tell me. Therefore I have NO idea who these happy bastards are.

Consumers shrugged off higher gasoline prices in April and sent a widely watched barometer of consumer confidence to its highest level in almost four years, a private research group said Tuesday.

The best way to beat the gas-price issue is to have more money so it doesn't freakin' matter. I'm not going to be browbeaten by a hairy bunch of sandal-footed End-Of-The-World-As-We-Know-It Ecoweenies into Carteresque submission.

Like somebody said, I'm old enough to remember the last gas crunch. Call me when gas reaches its inflation adjusted high of $4.70 per gallon in today's dollars, then we'll talk. Until then, in the words of Berke Breathed "it's cheaper than TyDBol" ($23.90 / gallon on sale).

And much cheaper than bottled water.

And anything that gets these whiney babies to conserve fuel in their honkin' guzzlers (like doing all your shopping in one trip, vice eight individual ones) is a good thing. Even my treasured commando wagon, 19 years old that it is, gets 16-18mpg around town and I wait to go a' wandering until I've got enough reasons to do so.

Do they make a Prius-pickup? Yeh, but it only holds Gay Democrats...
