Let's Hope This Means

...these sorts of amendments're on a roll.

New Hampshire lawmakers gave preliminary approval Wednesday to a constitutional amendment that would limit government's ability to seize private property.

...The amendment would prohibit the taking of private property for use by private developers.

I suspect they are, thankfully. Moreover, it's worth pointing out that many state constitutions' existing provisions on eminent domain are already stronger than the "public use" portion of the federal Takings Clause--even before it was gutted by Kelo.
