The dollar-size, savory Baby Vidalia pancakes are coming off the skillet...
...to be artfully plated by Major Dad, graciously acting as sous chef for today.
I think I'll keep him. Time to eat.

Nah. Ever thrifty and deliberate with his movements, he had me snag it from the windowbox. Although he did look it over carefully before deeming it acceptable.

They look lovely, but today I stopped by Beloved Mother's(she gets mad when I call her Sainted Mother cause she's still around) where there was pot roast, taters and leftover New Year's chili. Left w/ a doggie bag. And I am drinking leftover champagne w/ cranberry juice
