Quote of the Day

"[W]e were inundated with hate mail. We were disparaged as 'immoral cowards; a nation of effeminate, improbitive [sic], whimpering, timorous poltroons.' And isn’t it racist to say 'I hope you enjoy Islam. I hope you do not expect to move to the U.S. when the Muslims run you out of your own country'?"
~the French Ambassador to the U.S., Jean-David Levitte

Dead to rights, but in June 2004.

The bitter truth of irony. Unfortunately with our foolish immigraton policy, our day will come as well.

A Swill welcome, John! Here's to hoping you're wrong, huh? I don't think it's as much our immigration policies, as what happens once they're here. The cult of Hyphenated American springs to mind, for starters.
