Piglet: Disturbing Religious Persona Non Grata
Yup.
Muslims win toy pigs banNOVELTY pig calendars and toys have been banned from a council office — in case they offend Muslim staff.
Workers in the benefits department at Dudley Council, West Midlands, were told to remove or cover up all pig-related items, including toys, porcelain figures, calendars and even a tissue box featuring Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the same Britain that had a little subway problem a couple months ago, courtesy of their own local, coddled, catered to Islamics? I thought it was...

Nightfly - I know a Hui muslim - he really doesn't practice except to not eat pork. He looks as Chinese as they come, and he speaks Chinese with a Shandong accent. So weird to see a Chinese person who does not eat pork. I kid him about the Civet Cats, though.

Interesting, John. I've heard of the Ughurs (sp?) and their troubles with the ChiComs but not of Muslims of other ethnic strains.
As per the policy in question, it seems to have been cooked up by bears with very little brain, of course. I hope this gets shouted down by the British people.
