Never, EVER

...marry a guy named "Jim Bob".

Arkansas Mother Gives Birth to 16th Child
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Michelle Duggar just delivered her 16th child, and she's already thinking about doing it again...

...The baby's father, Jim Bob Duggar, a former state representative, said Wednesday that mother and child were doing well.

Lisa, did you vote for this guy?

Sheesh. Are they Mormons?

No idea, but I do know they'd make the Pope proud.

This is America, and I fully support her right to be a brood mare, if that's what she wants.

By God, Bill, THAT'S the spirit. Plus, she's helping offset the Social Security crisis. Those kids'll all have jobs someday!

I don't live in his district. But if I did, the answer wouldn't be just "no" it would be "Hell, no."

I don't have a problem with the 100+ kids or whatever, since we're not paying for them. (They're not on any government assistance. He's pretty rich from several business ventures.)

I do have a problem with them "assigning" the younger children to the older children, so that the older kids can be the "co-parent." That's just effed up. If they want to repopulate the earth, they need to parent ALL their kids themselves.

When do you think her uterus is just going to say, "Ya know what? I'm outtie" and fall out of her body? Let's make a pool.

There are two sets of twins, but still... holy shmoley. And every name starts with J? Are you kidding? Which poor kid gets named "Jerk" by his siblings during a family spat?

You should have a "Name the Seventeenth Child" contest. I propose "Jugband Duggar" to get things started.

Let's make a pool.
I think that's what her uterus is fixin' to do.

Good grief, if they're supporting their own kids in the style they think is appropriate, then why is it anyone's business but Mr and Mrs Duggar's how many children they have? Apparently they like having a big family, so how about minding your own business? Some of the comments here are just snarky and mean. "Brood mare," for G**'s sake?!

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Duggar on their new child, and on having the courage to pay no attention to busybodies who think their own family-size preferences should be forced on everyone else. Anyone who denigrates childbearing is an enemy of the human race.

Mark, dear, take a deep breath. No one was 'forcing' their family size preferences on anyone, NOR were they denigrating 'childbearing', simply marveling at the scope of theirs (the Duggars). And you have to admit, in this day and age, 16 IS a number to be marvelled at. Especially by those of us who HAVE a uterus (I'm assuming from the "Mark" you do not.) and know firsthand what 'childbearing' entails.

So cool your outraged jets and, in the words of Bill Murray, "lighten up, Francis".

Here is my poem
