Oh Well, F@ck Me...

...and us, in general. That's what I get for whoopin' about my new roof. Didn't Ophelia kill herself? In that case, here's hopin' for hurricane hari-kari.
UPDATE: You know it's bad when my roofer, after being told about the new depression, just said "I don't ever want to see another hurricane and they're our bread and butter!"

THS, that was what I was going to write in my last comment.. but felt I was being too big of an a-hole.... I WAS going to say: Yay! Just in time for the next hurricane.....man it sucks for you guys. I hope some strong western winds come a blowing soon.

November is a looooong way away. (Isn't that when hurricane season ends? November 1?)

Thank you Lisa, for that calender reminder. For a glimpse of that aching long number of days yet to get through. For the nudge about the weeks and weeks of wondering 'what next' ahead of us. For the months of uncertainty...

Yup. Long way to go.

Pffft.

Thanks.

What's really scary is that one out in the middle of the Atlantic just spinning around. It hasn't made up it's mind which way it's going and it's just sitting there getting stronger.

Give me rain. Just don't give me the other stuff. Hopefully they work fast THS.

But did Lisa really deserve that?

{Reverse guilt trips are even more awesome!}

BACK to your Corner, infidel!!! Such puny admonishments do not sway me!!

(For Lisa in the corner; There, there, dear! I found a little something to make you feel better. It seems to help so many people...)

My eyes! My eyes!

(True story: In 1992, I am sitting in my car at the corner of Capital and Main in downtown LR, waiting for a green light. To my left, from across the pedestrian mall, comes a large black SUV followed by a slightly chunky, fishbelly pale, man jogging. It's my Governor with his Secret Service patrol! He runs RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY CAR on down Capital. A slight slip of my foot from the brake to the gas and history is altered.)

(See?! You feel better already!)

Is this torture Lisa day? Man, THS, that was cold.

No, Global Warming!

Just what we need, a storm named after a crazy suicidal chick that drowned. Here we've been getting rain, rain and more rain

Posted by: Cindermutha at September 7, 2005 03:05 PM

And it's acting just as crazy, Cindermutha! Have you seen that loopy-dee-doo track??!!

And the experts say??? Door Number TWO!!

THE MAIN QUESTION IS HOW FAR EAST WILL OPHELIA GO BEFORE IT LOOPS BACK TO THE WEST.

from the nhc discussion

Rest safely and be ye not alarmed.

NO! Not another Jeanne... though I didn't lose lights with that one. I think it should go hit France.

And it is STILL RAINING here
