Governor Blameco Goes to Washington

Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, blamed by the former leader of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and New Orleans Mayor C. Ray Nagin for many of the city's post-hurricane problems, was given no questions about her response to Hurricane Katrina when she appeared before a Senate committee to plead for more federal money.

She asked not to be questioned about it and the senators agreed.

Like I said below ~ a free pass.

I never frell anything up, but if it ever did (and we don't experience a total existence failure) I'll use this also.

First step is surrounding yourself with enough first class suck-up kiss a$$es, who don't want to be seen as insensitive. If you can get enough of those kinda guys (you know, like minivan drivers, senators, etc.), you're in like flint! You don't gotta ever say nuthin'.

That's disgusting, but more than the US Senate, it's really these people that Blanco shoudl start worrying, the ones with the power (and moral obligation) to impeach her: http://house.louisiana.gov/

Yeah, McCain is too busy demanding answers of Bud Selig and Donald Fehr regarding steroids in baseball. What a damned circus. CAN YOU PLEASE TRANSACT THE BUSINESS OF THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES? Frickin' pantloads.

Diptera, McCain's not sweating base-ah-baw-roo, he's consoling Cindy Sheehan! Where you been, son?

That's a story from Tuesday, Ms. Sister - McCain was back in the Beltway (and on SportsCenter) yesterday yelling at the Blunder Twins. Apparently, his van is fast.

Faster than a speeding steroidal bullet, I'd say! This guy pulls chicks AND ball players? Woo hoo, I know who to vote for!

"Apparently, his van is fast."

Bonus points to Nightfly for an A-Team reference. I love it when a plan comes together. ;-)

Dave, you know McCain was doing it for the kids in the youth centers.
