Would Butter Help?

Tree rats are so weird. I mean, what kind of a beast eats pine cones like corn-on-the-cob?

Yeah. They get on my nerves. I have 6 giant pine trees in my front yard. Each year they pick one to be the neighborhood buffet. This year it is one by the carport. There are so many husks or what ever they are called, that I have to actually rake under and around the tree. It usually takes two trashcan loads to clean it up. Then I can mow.

I must see about properly motivating our cat to reduce the number of the pests...I thought turning over her feeding duties to our 5 year old would help, as her being fed is hap hazard at best.

Maybe a pellet rifle...

Geesh. I mean, you thought peanut butter made your mouth stick? Pine tar??? Blech.

I like the properly motivated cat idea. My lab is afraid of the darn things.
