Sorry About The Slow Loading Times Folks

But we are getting pounded by trackback spam today. I've deleted 30 or so, and they really clog things up.

Bastards.

PS - Anyone who even thinks about click through to some of those sites and encourage the turds will be gleefully emasculated.

We usually try to keep a week of posts open but had to close more this time. Filthy rotten bastards.

Yeah, I'm going to have to keep it pretty close as well, Ken.

I got hit with over 145 last night. Damn Texas Holdem Poker.

As I type, I see another group of 20 or so....arent there laws against this sort of thing?

The problem is that hold 'em is a great game, about which the spammers know next-to-nothing. It's simply the Next Thing. Three years ago it was eBay, eBay, and more freakin' eBay. Three years from now it will be some new fad, maybe online cooking or streaming video rental service.

For legality you have to go to Dave J; at the very least most ISPs discourage the practice from their own servers and take steps to bust account holders guilty of it. Do Not Spam lists may be the wave of the future. In the meantime it takes forever to load up the Coalition (or post comments).

Yep... there were a bunch who got hit with that batch. I did a lot of cleanup and blocking early this morning.
