Ode to Jimmy

There once was an ex Prez named Jim,
who cavorts with tyrants on a whim,
when denied space on a plane,
cried like the rain,
when I’m sure he'd get a seat with Kim.

Long after the death of Billy,
who was regarded as the less silly,
to honor the name of Carter,
in Nobel causes works harder,
to make despots and dictators less chilly.

For the Peanut Man I’ll not cry
whom the Venezuelans thank for their guy,
he’s long been a bore,
who snuggles with Moore,
to whom I’ll not soon enough say goodbye.

Your stunning tribute makes life breezy,
Though the subject is bilious and wheezy,
Oh, pick up your pen,
And do it again!
For a loser who's equally cheesy!

There once was a girl from Nantucket...

Um, never mind.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Jimmy Carter is a useless waste of carbon.

A President ought to be praised
For his judgement, and courage unfazed -
But while in command,
You can all understand,
Jim Carter only felt the malaise.

OK, THS, riddle me this: what is it about the Navy that breeds contempt for America in some folks? Cater's not the first ex-Navy officer I've come across spouting leftover quasi-Commie BS about America's sins.

Off hand I'd say the salt air and being confined with the same sex for long periods at a time (Remember that old commercial: 'Twelve men, one boat. What could be better?'), but that would be the easy way out. I can't pretend to understand, as I've noticed the same thing. But WITHOUT FAIL, the most egregious offenders are always Naval Academy grads ('Ring Knockers' to the less reverent). Always. They come out of that bastion of higher learning with such a sense of superiority, psuedo intellectualism and entitlement that most are barely tolerable. Your tax dollars at work.

I think, in part, it is serving in such isolated circumstances, without the constant reenforcement of why they are doing what they are doing. The ones I know are not ring knockers. That's not the first time I've heard that term. (I grew up about an hour and a half from Annapolis). By the way, I found out from a news story that a highscool buddy of mine is still in the Corps. Any way to get ahold of him? He's a Master Sgt., if that helps.

John ~ I just emailed you about it.

I have to defend the honor of the Navy here, although it's not popular in my family of "choice." Both my father and grandfather were in the Navy, and both of them loathed Carter and his anti-American cringe.

Our ex-prez had a fight with a bunny.
The story is really quite funny.
Pushed it off with an oar,
But it came back for more.
It's too bad Jimmy wasn't a gunny.

Jimmy Carter -- role model for the whining and whinging leftie. It's a wonder that Michael Moore, wildly popular film maker, hasn't come to his rescue. Oh, wait.......

Well, there's Al Franken, host of the successful Air America. No, hold on there....

Perhaps John Kerry and Teresa Kerry-Heinz will assist here. Oops! It's no longer "Kerry-Heinz", and John is getting the push away even from Ted Kennedy. My bad......

Hmmmmm! Looks like Jimmuh Cartuh's circle of friends is, ummmmmmm, shrinking.

Too bad Arrafat died; Jimmuh really fawned all over that creep, and was owed a couple of favors in return.

Well, there's always Fidel Castro. I hear he spoke well of the Pope. Maybe he can intervene on behalf of Jimmuh. [snickering heard in background.....]
